What is Dance Sport ?
Quite simply, Dance Sport is the general name for a large range of different styles of leisure and competitive social dancing, from Ballroom Dancing.to Hip Hop.
Do you like dancing?

Combine the 2 and get involved in one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

It's also one of the best ways to get fit and stay fit.
What's more. It's something you can do all your life. There's no age limit.
Not just that. As it is now an Olympic recognised sport, three of the disciplines - Standard, Latin and Rock n Roll - are now included as medal sports in the World Games.
Hopefully, it will be accepted into the Olympic games proper alongside Athletics and Gymnastics in the not too distant future. However it is in competition with many different sports all vying for those few precious sporting slots.
Dance Sport has a long history and a number of different styles or disciplines. Unfortunately, the club is unable to offer everything. Instead it specialises in International Standard (Ballroom) and International Latin. Othe styles may be taught on occasion or if it is able to be offered.
